This map reveals the designated areas to co-ordinate ambassadorial
activity throughout England.
Where there is a specific person coordinating NHS, local
government, higher and further education and professional
bodies’ support for New Generations Ambassadors Programme,
there will be an email contact. Where no local coordinator
is available, please contact your professional body.
Once you have emailed your interest
in becoming an ambassador, including your name, work address
and contact details, the local co-ordinator will then get
back to you with a response to your question about the ambassador
scheme in your area.
New Generations’ ambassadorial
work is coordinated on a regional basis. There are 28 regions
in England corresponding to the 28 strategic health authority
areas.
New Generations does not cover Northern
Ireland, Scotland or Wales. If you click on these areas it
will give you a link to the body responsible for NHS careers
for that country.
