We aim to make being a New Generations Ambassador as straightforward
as possible.

is for use in the induction of new ambassadors. You can download
it using the link below and customise it for use in your own
setting, or just read it though yourself. You will need to
have PowerPoint 97 or later.
Being a Good Ambassador Presentation
As well as explaining what the project aims to do, it has
useful advice on how to be a good ambassador and feel confident
when visiting a school.
The Proforma School's Presentation is intended
to help ambassadors giving careers presentations to young
people; it is just a framework and can be amended as required
by individual ambassadors to fit their own needs. The following
13 example slides provide a general overview of AHP careers
and give information from a national perspective.

Download the presentation (which is in PowerPoint 97), and
then amend it to meet your local needs, giving more detailed
information on your specialist knowledge – you might
like to add some pictures relating to your profession if you
have some available. If you are a visiting a primary school
it would be more appropriate to use less written slides, more
pictures and use the website content to develop discussion
and interaction with the pupils.
